This page provides prices for updating existing single-user and multi-user licenses for RATS for UNIX/Linux to Version 8.3. If you would like to make a platform switch from UNIX/Linux to either Windows or Mac, please contact us for pricing.
Note: Users who have been running UNIX RATS on Macintosh OS X systems will probably prefer to upgrade to OS X-native version of MacRATS, although you can also still use the UNIX version if you prefer. Please contact us for details.
An alternative to one-off updates for UNIX/Linux software are update subscriptions. Both "annual" and "version" update subscriptions are available for all of our UNIX and Linux RATS products. You can contact either us (sales@estima.com) or your local reseller for more information.
We offer both "Standard" and "Professional" levels of UNIX RATS. Currently, the "Professional" level includes four features not available in the "Standard":
The prices for updating one single-user UNIX or Linux license to Version 8.3 are shown in the table below. These are the same whether you currently have Standard or Pro levels of the software. Updates from version 8.x are electronic delivery only. Each update from a version 7 or earlier includes one set of printed documentation, though you can choose to get electronic delivery only to avoid adding shipping costs.
If you choose boxed product for your update from 7 or earlier, shipping is free to anywhere in the contiguous US (via UPS Ground service). For destinations in Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada, add $30.00 for the first license (contact Estima for a quote when ordering multiple copies). For all other destinations, including US possessions, add $55.00 for the first license (contact Estima for a quote when ordering multiple copies).
