I was looking through the options and noticed on the player-box the "keep in score group" option. That option would resolve one problem I've seen with cross-round pairings where the bottom player keeps losing the cross-round games and is perpetually left waiting at the start of the round for an opponent (particularly if there was an even number with one half-point bye in the first round and everybody playing after that, resulting in every single round having a cross-round pairing).
